I love this breed as well. I had a gorgeous boy for 17 years named Calvin . So smart, a dream to train. Became a local celebrity of sorts, I was allowed to take him shops everyone knew him.
We opted for weekly groomer appointments . Had a fabulous groomer he adored. It was just to much to manage alone, tho still daily brush/comb. But I'm not likely to be up tge coat challenges again.
So I will admire your lovely lady.
My first dog at 3yrs old was a collie. Utter perfection, was a blessing to grow up with her.
