My little budgie Kiro (5yrs) has always been very friendly, and we have avoided mirrors so he has stayed this way. He's still very healthy for his age, but has started getting a little bit too friendly with the bells in his cage. This is non stop all day, and if he is taken away from them, he will fly straight back. Is this healthy?

Maybe he sees his reflection on the bells? You can try taking the bells out.

Our conure had a similar infatuation with a favorite bell toy. We took it away because it was getting to be too much. We have since given him less sparkly bells and it seems to have done the trick.
