I've never given my birds bee pollen or flax seed, so can anyone tell me the appropriate storage for them and which formulation/variety I should purchase?

Bee Pollen: organic or non-organic? powder or granules?
Flaxseed: organic or non-organic? ground or whole? brown or golden?

I would go with organic if both are available.

Flax seed, ground.

Bee pollen, powder is just fine if you have picky birds. Granules are okay too, I use them and sprinkle sparingly once or twice per week.

I give Preeno brown flax seeds whole cause I know he'll chew it up.

If your birds are large then ground up is better as it's easier to digest that way!

I have a large macaw, a mini macaw, and I’m getting a parrotlet on Sunday. How are you guys storing these?
