Hello ❤

I have two lovely yellow-crowned Amazon parrot recently I am noticing that their dropping has more urates and I don't know what to do about it.
Their daily diet contains pellets ( tried different brands Zupreem, Roudybush which tend to increase the urates more, and now they are on Mazuri), Vegetables & fruits ( sweet potatoes, grapes, apples, raspberry, cucumber, and carrots )
Could you share your parrot diet your experiences also if you have any suggestions please let me know

As long as the urates look healthy I guess I don't really pay attention to the volume. Urates are basically concentrated urine, so the volume can change based on the rest of the diet. More liquid in = more liquid out.

I feed Zupreem currently as it's the only pellet my bird will eat. I then offer a daily chop of grains and veggies; I only use a tiny amount of fruit, as he already gets sugar in his pellet. Many days he gets no fruit at all.

I then offer a small amount of nuts and seeds.
