Hello!

so this is going to sound really bad, but are Bactive Disinfectant Wipes good for wiping down a parrots cage and toys?

(asking the question doesn't sound bad)

To me, they're partially unnecessary and partially ineffective.

Unnecessary because regular cleaning can be accomplished with a simple water + vinegar solution.

When you really need to disinfect, however, they're ineffective due to their format as a wipe.

A spray like F10 would be more effective to cover the nooks and crannies of a cage when disinfection is required (it's also a well known commodity).

One thing to consider is that it says anything that is a food use surface needs to be rinsed well. Since parrots use their mouth all over their cage, are you certain you will be able to rinse all of the areas you wipe?

The benefit of F10SC is thast once you let it dry, it does not need to be rinsed, thereby saving you not only time but also worry :)
