Who had been off her food since friday. Hacked up hairballs on sunday. Vet said give her laxatone and come in tuesday if still not eating. Came home early to take her in tuesday and found another hairball ---the nurse said don't come, up the laxatone. So now she had a runny stomach and still refusing food. i got her some grilled chicken from Zaxby's and she ate some from my fingers yesterday. I took her in today and they did an xray....no obstruction.
She got a shot of anti emetic Cerenia and a 7 day bid by mouth Flagyl liquid.
it makes her froth and foam instantly.
Good news is when we got home she ate some fancy feast and more chicken. The holistic vet in Co is sending his home cooking recipe which goes like 3 parts avian muscle meat, 1 part red muscle meat 1 part fish 1 part green veggies and 1 part carbs. Add to that fractions of capsules of
taurine
calcium citramate
potassium chloride (i think)
feline multivitamin
fish oil
i am going to be measuring out capsules of powders 3x a day to sprinkle on my home cooking
