I've been trying to encourage BBB (still not formally named, he's very chatty so it's hard to tell when I say names to him to see what he responds to) to bath. Unfortunately it's been met mostly with just confusion as to why I'm spraying him and then he looks a bit hurt. I have also tried a little water dish at the bottom of his cage and showing him it's water. We're heading into a heatwave in the UK today and I sprayed him and he finally fluffed up and had a proper bath. It was so cute. I've started to introduce him to Custard via playdates - Custard is mostly observing (and not bullying which is great). He's been vey sweet and likes to show her his toys.

I read that the UK was having a heatwave of 34C
My sister who has recently returned to Aust after living in the UK for 30yrs and I have a chuckle.
In Aust that would be a nice spring day.
But we do understand that everything is relevant.
We would shiver ourselves senceless at your winter temps.

Yes it's been very surreal for us here especially so early in the summer! I'm from South Africa originally so cope well with the heat but things aren't really set up here for the heat...! So I spent a lot of time trying cooling things for the birds- they weren't impressed one bit:laugh:
Our winter temps have been very mild to be fair, I think we only hit 0 degrees celcius a handful of times this past winter but things are made for keeping warm rather than cold!
