A Lovebird, which was claimed to be 20 days old when I first got it (Although I suspect it was younger) seems to be doing bad right now...

Nearly 8 days ago, I bought the chick to my home and mostly everything went smooth. The first few days passed and the bird seemed to be doing very good in terms of eating and how energetic he/she was... Possibly the most active baby bird Ive ever hand-fed. Basically, it nearly wouldnt stop eating if he/she had the chance to, Until a night that was about 3 days ago. During that night I woke him/her up at about 2am so I would feed it (Since didnt feed it for some time), but as I took him/her out of the "nest", it appeared to be EXTEREMLY weak, it couldnt hold its balance, the feet were cold and he/she barely opened his/her mouth so I could feed it, I only managed to get some of the formula in. He/she was limping so bad that it couldnt walk a few steps without loosing balance and banging its head on the floor. It fell over its back and wouldnt turn over, it just sat there with the eyes closed. I decided to return it back to the nest.

A few hours later I took him/her out of the nest and the situation appeared to be getting worse, It just took in a small droplet of the formula and it wouldnt swallow after that nor open its beak for more. I thought that at this rate it would probably starve to death, So i just started force feeding it. I forced about 3/4 of the amount I usually feed into the crop and placed it back in the nest. After 2-3 hours I came back to check on it and it seemed like it was doing MUCH better, the limping stopped and he/she started begging for food again, The day continued and he/she was eating just fine without the need to be gavage fed anything, but the same story happened again during night time. the cold feet, limping and loss of appetite were all back. I force fed it again and placed it back to the nest... few hours later, its back again. no limping and no cold feed, but the appetite did not return to the way it was. It was still nibbling my finger for food but it appeared to be weaker and the begging/screaming was less aggressive and energetic than the way it was. when i feed it it just took in about 70% of the amount and wouldnt take in more, but something was else was very bad, the poop. The thickness of the poop appeared to be fluctuating and the colors were in varity, sometimes yellow, sometimes black, some times creamy... and the odor of the poop kept on getting stronger.

This time, the night wasnt that bad, but he/she would only take in 1/2 of the formula. Today, the bird appetite was even worse, he would beg for food at first, but after a few little sips he just closes his eyes and stops swallowing, we could barely give him 1/2 of the formula now. The current color of the poop is brownish and sometimes creamy white. The odor is still strong

Theres probably no solely avian vet here (in the whole country) except for 1 veterinary institute which appears to have a full avian department, However I wont be able to go there at the current time. Theres a clinic which has a small avian department but they dont seem like they're specialists but they do have blood tests, the thing is with this clinic is that Ive heard a good bunch of BAD reviews talking about how the vets nearly have no idea how to properly diagnose and treat birds with the correct medicine, which does trigger my alertness.

What do you think is wrong with the bird? there was a period where the crop was emptying slower than usual so I suspected the crop is partially blocked and theres an infection, but after a few massages it probably returned back to normal rate.
The issue might be with the liver I dont know, does anyone have an idea about whats going on here?

What is the nest?
Where is the bird being housed?

You need to try and get to see a vet.

However I wont be able to go there at the current time.
Are they closed? Is there any way you can get there or speak to someone there?

The poop consistency and odour is very concerning. Baby poops should be a similar colour to the formula you feed, and smell faintly if at all.
You will need to run tests to find out the cause.

-Similar to those boxes Google Image Result for https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5e5fb623b68a8f7221328861/1596479490669-M9BOID59ESGNF6REIN65/brood1.jpg

-The first Vet I mentioned is currently closed yes, because its night now, but even if its not i wont be able to get to them for atleast a week

-The second vet, which the bad reviews were present is also currently closed because its night but Ill be able to get to them by tomorrow, however the bad reviews are really concerning

I dont think that I have to reason out why I cant go to the first vet, but anyways, the reason is that they (currently) wont let in anyone who's not vaccinated

Is the temperature steady all of the time? Or is it dipping and rising?
How is your humidity?

Could you find a friend or relative that is vaccinated to visit the vet? Have the phone on speakerphone or something?

If not, I would try the other vet in the morning. Remember, when someone has had a bad experience, they want to tell the world how mad they are. But those who are satisfied, usually don´t. Obviously I´m not saying they´re a good or bad vet, but maybe have an open mind? If you feel uncomfortable about something, or how they handle the bird, tell them.

Ill send him/her to the vet tomorrow once they open.

I havent read much about humidity for birds and chicks...? The region here is pretty humid and hot outside, the humidity is very intense that buildings' glasses are all foggy and dripping with water, However I cant tell how much humidity leaks inside and how humid is the place. For temperature I have this thing which seems like a thermometer inside the box, it usually reads about 28C-33C, But I dont know if its accurate or if its even working properly

Ideally you want the humidy between 60-65. But between 55-70 is ok.

But I dont know if its accurate or if its even working properly
if the temperature is not steady it can cause problems with the crop and also lead to infections.

I hope all goes well at the vets and you get some answers

!!!!!! Something went wrong! It was just night time and the baby bird was squeaking for food. I dropped a little bit of the formula in his/her mouth and it started tasting it for a few moments, after that It closed its eyes and had a nearly full Paralysis! It fell right on its face and didnt move for like about 2 seconds, after that it appeared to wake up and started walking towards me again... I force fed it afterwards
Did anyone have the same experience with his/her bird? I need to know whats going on!!!

Took it to the vet today... probably got diagnosed with a crop infection which is on the severe side, and the infection most likely progressed into the digestive system.

I hope he feels better soon. Did the vet give antibiotics?

The vet gave me something like Medizole powder and told me to mix it with warm water, but I dont know if I should use warm water or boiling water??? I use Nutribird A-21, but I dont know if the water thats that is mixed with it should be warm water or boiling water? If the water is supposed to be boiling, then can I add boiling water to Medizole powder?

Boil the water, let it sit for a minute. Then pour into the formula powder while mixing. Mix well removing all bumps, by the time you have mixed it well check temp, it will be almost right. You may have to wait a minute before feeding if it hasn´t cooled to 105F
