Auto cat water fountain as bird bath?

Is this safe for a GCC? Another model (plastic version) on Amazon features photos of green cheek conure using it to take a shower/bath and it seems like a good idea but maybe it’s not safe? The one I linked above is stainless steel.

PS this is what happens when you’re picking up your bird tmo so you can’t sleep so you decide that your bird must have a fancy shower fountain lol!

Conures easily chew and destroy the plastic. Most conures seem happy enough to bathe in the shower, kitchen sink, water bowl, mom’s water glass, wet leaves, puddle on the counter, the freshly cut watermelon on the table for dinner…
