I don't know why this chart is not given to tourists as they arrive, maybe customs is yet to discover this helpful guide?

I really think the magpies need to be up with the plovers though ;):laugh:

I’ve heard they’re terrifying! The videos of them dive bombing people are insane.
The magpies are in the news every year, we have posters with reminders of how to stay safe and every year many are relocated or deemed too dangerous to be around humans- not uncommon to see bike riders and kids wearing odd helmets with cable ties hanging out of them or huge eyes painted on the backs of them lol. I think every Aussie knows someone who has had a decent injury from a magpie. We always make an effort to befriend our local magpies and plovers and we never have any problems with them.
