Just thought I would share this for any Aussies who want to participate in this bird count. It actually seems like it could be an enjoyable as well as interesting 20 min activity

Usually do the RSPCA bird count here. A lot of people in my road do, so it is interesting to see how coherent the results are

I was part of the last one, so I was aware of their new study. I don't have the daylight hours to do it again, but it's worthwhile if you do.

Theres a bird I noticed recently and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. It's being annoyed by noisy minors. I think its pale brown and white, large, with a hook beak. It makes a piercing "ark ark ark " noise. (I'm in Northern Sydney near bush)

Also saw an eagle last week!!!
