So, as you all know Argyle, my new Linnie is afraid of hands but I sit by his cage and talk to him. The other night he stepped out onto my shoulder and he has been taking millet spray from my hand.
I leave his cage open when I am in here and today he flew out onto the floor. I used a really long perch and offered it to him to step onto which he did. I put him on top of the perch on the cage. He climbed up onto a boing and climbed all the way up onto a climbing net. He hung out up there for a long time. When I wanted him to come down I showed him the millet and he started to climb down and I get him a bite every few steps down. Then, I offered the long perch again and he stepped onto it so I could get him back into his cage, where I gave him another bite of millet. I am so proud of him. He is the cutest, sweetest boy.
