Are they affected?

I know ekkies are old world parrots. But they are oily birds. Are they affected by the old world powder down or no? I've heard conflicting info. I've been curious since River (and Basil, Echo, and Mint) will be left with my dad, if I would be able to get an old world bird ever.

There doesn't seem to be much information on an Eclectuses sensitivity to powder down. Any bird is sensitive to powder down if they are kept in a circumstance where powder down is heavy.
