Are these cages suitable for all medium birds?

I’m still deciding what bird I should get (maybe pi), but just in case if my specie choice changes, I want to make sure that the cage is big enough and suitable for other species

It kinda depends on your definition of "medium" bird. My Jardine's is a 200g dude and I wouldn't put him in any of those. His beak is too big to easily climb 1/2" bar spacing, and too strong for those smaller wires.

I would say no. The 20.5 inch isn't big enough for a medium bird. You really have to look at what they're measuring. Height really isn't as important as width and depth.

It is generally best to decide on the species of bird you want then get a cage to suit it.

I have seen Cockatiels labelled as medium birds right along side an African grey and a cockatoo lol - they are vastly different sizes and need quite different sized cages and bar widths.

I would not put a Pionus (or anything larger) in any of those cages.
