Are cucumbers safe for budgies?

Hello,
So my birds are moulting and I want to give them cucumbers because I heard it’s very hydrating and is good for feathering. Although, I have read somewhere that the seeds are bad for them and that you must remove the seeds because it can make your bird “sick”. I have seen many people give cucumbers to their bird without an isssue, but I just want a reassurance that the seeds aren’t harmful. Thanks in advance.

Cucumber is fine to give. Just remember they have a high water content, so feed in moderation.

My birds (cockatiels) love cucumbers and go for the seeds first, then eat the flesh. But they do not like the skin!
My budgies also don’t like the skin
I am guessing because it’s might me too hard to eat.

I take the skin off for my budgie, and either cut it into rounds or half-circles. She loves taking a bite, then frantically cleaning her beak. :pbbudgie:
