This is an old thread, I know! But so much useful information in it.
I'm working at a rescue where they give it daily. I'm wondering though, some of them can also bath in it. Is that something to be careful about?
Interesting question. Due to the type of liquid could it have the same affect that oil spills have on sea birds? I suppose it is probably not risky as it is heavily diluted.

I really have no clue, but I'm interested

@Missmary there is so little raw apple cider vinegar in the drinking water I really dont think your bird would find the taste bad. My budgies and others had no issues drinking it. There was no odor to it after mixed either.

I would not want a bird to bathe in vinegar water, however. There would be no logical reason to do this.

Just be sure to use Braggs or other unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
