Anyone want a siggy?

So frustrating, I get to number 6, that @Just-passn-thru so kindly added to the instructions, and I bomb out! I can't figure out where the edit options box is so that I can click on it!
I think I'll post this message in a HELP thread!

1=Go to your account click on signatures
2= check delete box if you see anything pictures or script
3= if everything blank good, if not, then delete ! in the big space above the box make sure it's empty, if not, then hit your backspace tab to clear it out.
4= next go back to the bottom of your signature editor where you see browse /upload... click browse
5=look in your files for your signature... then click open … it will open your selected image
6= once your image is up-loaded , go back to the open space above with all the icons and edit options...with your curser click the box and backspace till it is at the very top of the box .
7=then add exactly what you see in the instructions below the up-load window
8= sigpic /sigpic you must include [ ] [ ] if i do that right now it will inset my signature . ITS VERY IMPRTANT THAT YOU EDIT EXACTLY LIKE IT SAYS TO DO!!!!! make sure you add the forward slash with the second [/sigpic]

Thanks so much - now it says (after I entered the sigpic/sigpic) that my signature is one line too long! I'm still working on it!

@Ripshod - THANKS so much for your help - I still can't see the new sig on this thread, but when I went to the I SPY thread, there it is - my new sig! Thank you to @Conure101 - I tried to insert the thank you into the signature, but it was too long, so saying thank you here too!

Which part of the instructions did you get stuck on so I can alter the How To thread if needs be?

I do okay until it says insert sigpic/sigpic into the EDITOR above. What editor above? Is it an icon, I wonder? Do I pick from one of the 19 icons above, is one of those the editor?

The ¨editor¨ is the whole page, and the sigpic code goes into the text box.

It was the part where it said to enter the sigpic/sigpic into "the editor"!
I couldn't figure out where to enter it, and surely did not think it would be in the text box above the pic! I kept thinking 'the editor' was one of those "magic" icons up above, some of which I don't DARE touch, for fear of never making another post on AA! (like - remove formatting, insert table, toggle bb code...) < ooooh Lawdy - Elly no touch!!!

If you need any of the other How To threads, they are all over on How-To Junction (It is on the list on the homepage for avianavenue.com). They are all pinned and green so they stay at the top

On the ¨How to create a thread¨ thread, I did go over what those buttons are and how to use them if you ever want to know. But yes, that toggle BB code cog got a lot of us
