anybody hab savannah cats (part wild)

i love these cats but never owned one because of the extremely high price
i think there almost as cool as parrots
there huge and look wild and like water and playing fetch and can be walked like a dog
if any body has these would love to see pics or hear about them

There was a botched attempt to import them into Australia about 6 months ago. They got approval from the government and was just about to place the cats in quarantine when the government had a change of heart and denied them entry.

I would absolutely LOVE a Savannah! They are gorgeous and one of the very best cat breeds to own (despite their size). Super loyal. You are right, they are much more like dogs than cats.

I can't say that I am too upset about them not entering Australia though (as much as I would love to own one). There are too many risks to the environment over here should one escape or be turned loose.
