Another bird in need of help :(

Bad news, he didn't make it.
They sent me an email but it went to my spam box. I just picked up the cage, there's blood all over it, poor guy. The vet did everything they could. He suspects the cat grabbed the bird piercing his wing then thrashed him against something. I'm going back down tomorrow to pay the bill.

Oh no, I'm sorry, the poor baby. At least he passed in a less frightening way than being attacked. You did a good thing here, sorry it didn't end as we hoped.

Least the lil angel found some angels to take his wounded body off the street & give him a warm safe place to rest & a chance to recover.
Sure vets gave him pain meds so he passed with little discomfort. So sorry...

I'm so sorry but you all did the best you could. We found a injured baby crow on the ground earlier this year year and we took him to the wildlife rehab vet. His legs didn't work and they had to put him down but we all tried our best and no animals got him. We do the best we can and it doesn't always go the way we hoped
