American Singer Canary

I have decided to get a canary. I have researched canary species and am interested in the American Singer. It is supposed be hardy and have a pretty song. Do any of you have one, or is there a different one you recommend?

If it's song you're interested in, the singer is a good choice, also the rollers and timbrados (sp.)

Hi, I have mostly had Glosters and even they have a nice song! I would spend some time on YouTube listening to different ones.
