I just got a Indian ring neck a few days ago like 4 to be exact and I tried to I did everything gave him time to settle in I tried to socialise him with people ,he was ok with people near his cage but didn’t like hands or fingers but I tried to finger feed him he would not do it just ran away but I thought he was familiar enough With his cage because he was being territorial so I let him out in my kitchen (veterinary lady said it)
and he just did his thing but then he didnt get back in he stopped caring about sunflower seeds his favourite seed and just climbed everywhere like a mad man flying over me like a torpedo but now he doesnt get back in his cage he is just eating the plants and Now he trying to fall asleep on a popcorn machine I put his cage with the door open right infront of him but he won’t go back in how do I get him back in

Have you tried to see if he'll step up on a perch?
Is he low enough that you could perhaps dim the lights and carefully hold him in a towel or blanket to get him safely back in the cage?

One of my lovebirds did this when I first let them out I had to turn light off and towel mango then put her back she didn’t move a muscle in dark

best thing to do is have a perch on door of cage and a treat bowl near front put treats in bowl millet nurtiberry or favourite treat mine go back In for that mango and apple pie
Indie steps onto a Williow stick only perch she will and pico goes back in his cage if I touch his wife cat ball

They shouldn’t move in dark just put towel over top of them carefully make sure wings are flat to body hold sides watch your fingers you don’t want to be going this at all if can be helped as it can break trust but if he’s not safe to be left out over night/morning it’s as to be done for their safety

You need to turn lights off so it’s dark

I really think your best bet at this point is to dim the lights and just get him safely in the towel. The longer he's out and crashing around the room unfortunately the more likely he is to harm himself.

I don’t know what to do he won’t move from that area when I’m close to him he screams but if I make it dark his head wil hit the top piece of wood

Do you have a travel cage you can put him into after you hopefully capture him? If the beak is bad enough to have to see a vet this will be easier than trying to capture him out from his main cage at this point I'd imagine.

Oh ok thats good in this case since its portable enough to easily take him to the vet if need be. If he will stay in the same place with the lights on while you try to capture him in the towel thats ok. The biggest reason to turn the lights dimmer is so they are less likely to want to fly away since their night vision isnt that great. Will he step up onto the broom if you slowly put it in front of him? You want to be careful to not come at him top fast with it so he doesnt get startled and hurt himself trying to get away from it.
Have you tried to put the cage near him with the door open ? If you can do that with where he's currently sitting if you try to gently herd him towards it perhaps to escape the perceived threat of your approach he'll attempt to go in the cage.

You can drape a towel over tge front if your hands snd reach in and scoop him up.then hold close to your chest sbd take over to cage and put in.

Or you csn wait. Bring a lamp over any have shine on cage. Turn the rest if lights out.

I wouldn't try and scare him out
