One of the latest born in my flock. A female pallid opaline roseicollis. I handfed her for the last three weeks and she's almost weaned. 40 days old now.

Just ate her crop full. Ready for a night's sleep.

I think I will keep this one. Since it's a pallid. Will post pictures when it's adult feathers are showing

Pallids are very light green birds. Almost yellow. It show's on the back now. Lutino Opaline have a yellow back. Pallid Opaline light green. You can see it better when they are adult birds.
Also the beaks are different. Lutinos have an orange one. And red eyes. These have black eyes and top of the beak is brown. There are more differences. But these are easy to spot.

Hrm, I just suck at mutations lol. Resembles the lutinos I see a few times a year. Either way a cute little chicky.
