I saw a beautiful white hawk soaring a few days ago. From its size, shape and flight pattern, I believe it was a red-tailed hawk. It was pure white on its back and was dazzling as it soared against a blue sky. When it turned so its' belly was visible there may ave been some brownish traces where a red-tailed hawks belly band marking would be. Some one just told me this morning they had seen it. I'll keep an eye out for it.

That's neat! On my street one year we had a pair of leucistic pigeons, they liked to stay on the roof of this one particular house. They were so pretty!
