I have a quiet Quaker. He’s a real change after the sweet bird I had for 21 yrs. She could tell me what she wanted; heck; she bosses me around! But Willow seems to be quieter and quieter.
it’s not that Willow’s unhappy. He seems happy; tail wags a lot; he licks me; he purrs when I scritch him. And I know he CAN talk because I’ve heard a few words around his cage and his perching basket.
anyone know how I can persuade him to be more talkative? I don’t talk much but that didn’t stop my Lucy. But Willow just watches. It’s so easy when birds tell you what they want. And it’s fun. But I can’t even get him to blow kisses back and forth.
