is there any way to tell the age of a black capped conure, we originally was told by the breeder he was a green cheek and 6 months old but now we know he is a black capped and would like to try and make sure of his age. Thanks

I am not sure if there is really any good way of telling how old they are. Some experienced Vets will make a guesstimate though. I take it the breeder was not very experienced

Does he have wear a leg band? They will have the year he was born on it.
