So I have a question. Most of you know that I have a 24ish year old female blue and gold macaw named Cody.
The adoption coordinator recently emailed me and asked me if I would be willing to take in 2 Congo African greys. Louis is 16 and Sierra is 20.
It would just be a foster situation. Not a foster to adopt situation.
My concern is having the dust and dander for 2 African Greys in the same house as a blue and gold. I know that it can be dangerous and potentially lethal.
I just don’t want it to be risky for Cody as she is my main concern. I’m not sure how long we would have to foster them because I know how hard it is to place 1 bird, let alone 2.
Thoughts?
