Advice on chop

I'm thinking of getting a food processor to help chop my bird food. It's just really hard cutting veggies and fruit everyday by hand, and a food processor would save me a LOT of time! I've really wanted to make chop for my bird as well, so I can be sure that he's getting the nutrients he needs. However, I've heard some cases of where birds will refuse to eat chop because it doesn't look like food to them. If I were to get a food processor and make chop, how would I introduce it to him?

This is what I've been doing for him. This mix is bok choy, orange pepper, cucumber and jalapeno pepper.
Also, sorry for the image quality! My computer refuses to take good pictures!

If you use the processor, just pulse it once or twice (depending on how much you're making). Don't over process it. I have a mini processor and just press the button 3 short times, then done.
