When you use ACV does it have to be refrigerated after being opened or can you leave it out? The reason I am asking is the other day when I used it I left it out the rest of the day and over night. Is it still safe to use or should I pitch it and buy a new bottle?

I always leave it out, but then again I use it pretty fast because I drink it also. I heard it should be stored in the dark though, so I don't leave it on the counter. I personally don't know anyone who refrigerates it, but maybe it is better if you don't use it much? I don't know, someone will surely be able to tell you soon. But don't worry about having left it out.

Logan, it's fine either way. I refrigerate mine, but it's not necessary.

I store mine in a cabinet - but I use just the normal ACV you buy at the grocery store, not the organic stuff.

I think i read on the bottle something like keep in a cool dry place - and cabinets are usually cool and dry plus that's where my mom always kept ours so its a habit

Ok good now I can start Lucy back up on her ACV. And it does take me awhile to get through it since it is just Lucy so I will just leave it in the fridge kind of a habit now. Thanks for the fast replies:D

throwing my 2 cents worth in here - the best ACV to use is the one with the 'mother' in it (Braggs) that's where all the benefits are, rather than the filtered or normal ACV

I refrigerate mine. Since it is organic and all, the vet suggested to keep it in the fridge.

This is the only kind I use for Squeeky. I have been using it for over a year now with no problems.

it's pretty tangy that's for sure :hehe:

(old habit to taste whatever I am giving to feather/fur/skin kids - if it tastes bad to me, imagine it is not going to taste the most wonderful to them:D )
