A tragic day.

This morning was the funeral of my close childhood friend, Shane. I wasn’t able to go because I was emotionally distraught over losing him, and the guilt of missing it was already weighing heavily on me when had to take my boa, Lady Peanut Butter, to the vet.

I brought her in not long ago for lethargy and anorexia, and it was eventually discovered that she had a tumour in her lung. Today was the day she went in to have it removed; tragically, she passed away from complications in surgery.

Peanut Butter was an amazing, incredibly sweet snake and I loved her dearly. She will be deeply and sorely missed.
I'm an absolute wreck.

Ohhhhhh...I' sos sorry...I liked Lady Peanut Butter...I remember when you got her,,, What can we say...what can anyone say??? you did your best for her & loved her til death do you part...She could not have asked for more...Crap...life is not fair sometimes...hecl life is not fair at all...We are a bunch of random organisms just trying to survive but some of us have love in our hearts & that will never die...
