Yesterday morning, my fiancé went to feed the birds as they do every morning to find that Ella had passed in the night. We’re not sure what happened, but we think it probably has to do with the clutch she’s been sitting on. She didn’t seem sick at all, eating and drinking and playing, but something was too much for her tiny body to handle. We buried her out on my in-laws land.
Ella was feisty and energetic. She loved to shred wood and paper and jingle her bells. She usually wasn’t very adventurous, but could be enticed with millet to be brave.
