I was thinking another column could be added to view, if possible. A column for city and state, so people can quickly scroll down and see if any of the posts are nearby, without having to open ever post (unless they wanted).
Just an example:


Or even a filter to filter ones by city, state, country, etc so we only see the posts made by people closer if wanted.

For auto fill the forum would pull your IP address which is not always accurate. It would be just as easy for people to post it in the title. -crazy concept I know

True, that would be just as helpful with adding the location in title. Maybe could be suggested to mention it with the description there now, "rescue, rehoming & sanctuary discussions."

Figured I ask. Then I realized after the initial post, it would only work if they have the location filled in their profiles, or the said post had additional fields to be filled.

Sounds like the engineers in the company (a Big Corp$) I work in. The higher the title, the less they read.
