A sad day, the heaven sent budgies are back in heaven

I just found out the pair of budgies my Nephew took in from me passed away.

He's sad, and not sure what happened. I asked him all the safety questions we all know, and after more then 3 1/2 years in his care they are no more.

He is very sad, he truly loved them. We both did. They came to me at a time we needed each other. They were a great find, they truly were rescued being outside and had a wonderful and cared for life.

Fly free Ron and Becky, Steve and I truly loved you two. The image I took the day I got them into a cage after they were rescued from outside in a neighborhood.

Here they both are the week they were found. I found them the end of May a few days before our beautiful U2 Jenny passed away. They stayed with us until the end of June when our current Cockatoo Sophie came home from the rescue. Per the rescues requirements, no small birds that could possibly carry any disease. So my Nephew took the budgies to his home. They were 100% perfectly healthy babes, and I loved having them come stay a week every now and then. I will so miss them!

It's been a week they are here. They are staying with us. They are chatty, I added more toys and they have shredded a tiny planet pleasures toy. We know what I'll be ordering lol. I walked by their room, heard the most beautiful songs they were singing to each other. Love these sweets guys!
