A piece of my heart is gone

My little master of sass, Sherbie-lou, had a seizure, and passed away today.


I wanted to thank everyone again for the most wonderful Christmas you all bestowed on my little flock of two... I didn't know it would be Sherbie's last one, but I'm so glad that it was so grandiose. For the first time in a very long time, Sherbie went crazy for her toys. So much so, that I had just ordered more, in hopes that she'd enjoy them as much as her Christmas presents. It will be bittersweet seeing those when they arrive.

I miss her so much. I keep expecting to hear her hollering for me, to hear her bossing me around, telling me when it's time for their snacks, and time for bed. My heart hurts so bad.

Omg, Sadie. I don’t have any words that will ease your heart- but I sure wish I did. I’m so glad that those happy Christmas memories happened, and that you did take photos of Sherbs and all her presents. My heart hurts for you- and Rupert. Seven years just isn’t enough!!
