A nice picture of Rye

Thought I would share this nice picture I caught of Rye!

Wait. Is that a filter or is that his actual colouring?!

@Sodapop&Co. I had night mode on because it was kind of dark in the room at the time, but in sunlight that is his actual coloring. The vet believes the coloring is due to severe inbreeding (she thinks that the hoarder may have started with as few as two cockatiels) and we will be doing more testing in the future to make sure it isn't due to another issue.

Wow that is crazy. I have never seen a Tiel of that colouring before. And that is really sad at the same time. I hope your sweet baby won't have any problems <3

My first thought was.... liver failure. That can cause extreme amounts of yellow like that.

He certainly looks bright eyed at least!
