A new mother of two

Good evening! It all started off with my budgie Quinn and got a GCC recently. I decided to come on here for help and to help. My parakeet was quite easy to tame and step up unlike conure, Honey. She's a shy bird who tends to scare easily and doesn't know how to step up. She's getting used to me touching her but has slight trust issues unlike my budgie who is a very angry bird overall. I just wanted to say hello and I'll post pictures in the comments! Pleasure to join the community and hope to get feedback on the care and management of my two birdies

Welcome to AA. Both Quinn and Honey are cute. What do you mean by angry regarding the budgie? Does she bite, lunge at you, etc?

He steps up and all but he does nip me quite a bit. He was one of the most aggressive budgies in the cage when I first purchased him. I'm not sure if it's just something he enjoys doing or maybe something I did created that sort of behavior towards me and others. @iamwhoiam

An observation regarding honey. In that photo her leg ring looks too big to me. May be wise to have it safely removed. It could get caught on something, and Honey could injure herself trying to escape.
