A New Brother?

Hello!!! I have had Tater Tot for almost 2 years. I adopted him when he was just a month old. He is so sweet, talkative, and loves giving kisses. He has been by himself and I was wondering if he can introduced to a brother? I'm not going to run out tomorrow and get one, but I'd like to hear good and bad points of getting a second. I guess I just want him to have a buddy to spend a lot of time with.

I think it would be great for him to have a buddy! You will have to keep them in seperate cages until they are bonded, and there’s always a possibility they may end up disliking each other although I heard that’s uncommon with budgies.

I like the idea of a bird having a buddy - whether they bond or not, they can still converse.

Just remember to quarantine the new bird for at least 4 weeks (some suggest 8 - just do the best you can). This will give you time to run tests and get results and also start creating a bond with the new bird
