A link appeared in one of my posts

What's going on guys. Something has changed a word in one my posts to a link to one of the vendors. I refer to the word 'pink' in THIS POST

It's happened with the same word in this very post. If I wanted the link I'd post it as a link. Now the word 'pink' has been hijacked. It's unprofessional. It takes me to the peachy inkpress.

So what is happening is that PINK has been currently set as a vendor keyword. For instance, for Lil Monsters Bird Toys, mine is LMBT. It is possible they didn't consider that every iteration of "pink" would convert to a link

Vendor keywords were on the other website too and many users have been using them for years to easily reference and link to vendors.

Strange to have not seen them before. I certainly haven't until a short while ago,but then I never used any of those words before, and I'll be avoiding in the future.
TBH I don't know how I feel about this. Taking a break.

Quick! Some smart cookie should claim the vendor name "THE" so that every post has tons of links to their website.

Remember vendors pay for the privileges they have on the site, including their keyword ad.

It's frustrating @Zara. Not only do I have to be wary of the wide adverts when swiping on the screen, I now have to be aware that certain words do the same thing. That and the fact I typed a word and not a link.
I used to be a host. I know servers don't cost that much, (REMOVED)

Mmmmm, that's an idea. The ads are a nuisance to mobile users and it's prohibitively expensive for me to order from them if they would deliver

Honestly I don't know why I made such a fuss about the word PINK. It's not like PINK is a word I use every day. The only reason I can spell the word PINK is because I like PINK's music. Don't worry guys, I won't be typing the word PINK for at least a few years, now I'm aware of the power of the PINK.

If anyone decides that Nutz is now your favorite word in the whole wide world and it bothers you that it's my keyword.... I would be willing to change it in exchange for my yearly vendor fees.

There are ways around most things if your willing to do some research. The key words wont go away and they don't bother me as like said it links to a vendor or common phrase we all use to get you directly to them or get a explanation of what the word signifies here like fid. Well I guess I typed that one wrong or I don't have the proper abbreviation but it used to work on the old board.
