I created this thread and I know @Miss Annamarie wanted to know the same thing.

So we both have spare 10 gallon tanks and something needs to be done with them! Most reptiles are too big to live in there their entire lives, so we are pretty limited.

Any suggestions?

@taxidermynerd

Thank you, Ali!

Ok, so I just looked at my local pet shop's facebook, and they have these adorable Algerian Sand Geckos back, which I wanted last time. They are tinyyyyyy

Giant millipede? Hissing cockroach?

I would advise against hermit crabs - it's very hard to breed them in captivity so most are wild-caught. This has a devastating effect on wild populations.

I didn't know that about hermit crabs, interesting. I was staying away from them anyway.

I thought about a millipede, and I have another spare tank that I think would better suited one.

These are the geckos

I know the trade is super awful, I was thinking more of getting them off craigslist for a rehome, i dont want to support them being wild caught

Be sure to slow down and research well. Just because you have a spare tank, doesn´t mean it needs filling asap.
You also need to make sure you will have the time to devote to whichever creature you bring home.

In saying that, I like African snails ;) Though I´m not sure how big a home they would need..
