Hey everybody!

i’m currently looking into adopting up to 4 cockatiels. I was wondering what measurements and cage size i should get. Any advice would be appreciated!

Depends on the situation and how these birds live now. You may need as many as 4 environments. If it's only one then it's going to have to be a lot bigger than a cage.

So what's the scoop?

All four live together currently and i’m Wanting to adopt them all together. They’re hand tamed, and get along together but i don’t know the specifics of how they’re living. What measurements would you suggest?

I think for four you would need a mini aviary. Or a large macaw cage with cockatiel sized bar spacing.

Maybe if you need to save space you could get 2 stackable flight cages.

That’s what I was going to suggest. I have 2 prevue hendryx F050 cages, the XL, that I got on Amazon. I removed sides and zip tied them together making it 7 feet long. I use them for finches.

Last night I was looking at how underutilized that cage is, and thought about moving the tiels in there. I have 3. They have freedom to fly in the bird room 24/7 but the single male moved into the girls’ flight cage and it’s crowded when they all go in there.
