im in the UK so a bit far for your stuff, I'm planning on making my own willow version of this.

Can I ask please what size SS wire you use ? I was thinking 1.5mm but not sure how study it would be

hi

im in the UK so a bit far for your stuff, I'm planning on making my own willow version of this.

Can I ask please what size SS wire you use ? I was thinking 1.5mm but not sure how study it would be
I use 3/32” inch rod which a little thicker. I also use 1.5mm = 1/16” for s as smaller lighter stuff.

So 2/2.5mm (basic equivalent) would be better, I tried 3mm but it’s just not very easily playable, so I thought 1.5 but I’ll give 2mm or 2.5mm a look.

appreciate the help
The thicker stuff is harder to work with no doubt.
