no armadillo, no deer, but a FAST little snake
Now please don't tell me this is some poisonous snake I was so close to

Really don't know. You're way too far from me to be sure since or wildlife are very different. Looks like a garter snake to me. Maybe gg can say with more certainty.

black racer young looks like a copperhead. not sure what kind you found but the head to me doesnt look like a garter snake nose is to pointy looking to me.its been 6 years since i have seen one so i might be wrong. least you didnt run across one like this guy did lol

why is the ground white? in florida it doesnt snow but if i didnt know better it looks like frost on the ground

i wanna see an armadillo too

ok guys thanks for the scare LOL GOT TO WARN ME WHEN ITS SNAKES!

but if it is a Racer of any kind I don't think you want to be that close any more

A friend of mine from back home (Ohio) was telling me a few weeks ago that they had a outbreak of Blue Racers in town , that killed a lady's dog (it was like a German Shepard kind of dog so it wasn't small) and all the animal control people did was put them in trash cans and let them go in the open field across the street
