Hello, my parrots name is ialani, he is a 25 year old Vosmori. He is having the worst molt of his life. I’m very worried about him. We live in the mountains in Eastern WA and there are no avian vets. He has bald spots on his head, neck, legs. He eats organic fruit and veggies. I have organic nuts and food for him too. Any suggestions? I might be able to find a vet 3 hours away in Moses Lake.

I am not an expert by any means. I've heard/read that bathing is good and is essential during the molt. Nutrition information is all over the place, but many say that pellets with food coloring are bad for Ekkie feathers.
Does he seem to be overpreening in those areas? If so, maybe more stimulation or engagement.
