My newfound hobby...birding!

I was out hiking Sunday. Cool, overcast and windy. Perfect weather for me and the rovers to go shooting. Follow my link for more photos.

This is my favorite of the bunch. I love the tossed trees, the bird flying over and the dark rain clouds.

I even managed to catch a few of the fast flying buggers!

What's a killdeer? Is that those screeching long legged birds that were following me about? If so, yes they were awesome!

Yes thats them They like parking lots too. The convention center where I once worked had tons of nesting killdeer, I loved to watch them.

hahahaaa I just cracked myself up....Looking at the title of your post, I figured "Oh, awesome! Wild bird photos!" Then I read the first couple sentences and I was like, "WHY THE HECK WOULD POST PICTURES ON HERE OF SHOOTING BIRDS??!?!!" Then I realized it was what I though all along...silly me, I think I need some coffee

Anyways these are some really beautiful shots of not dead birds

Oh my! I could never actually 'SHOOT' anything! Except a camera of course.

I'm kind of new at wild bird photos, but am having a grand time trying to get them in my viewfinder.

Thanks. There's actually two different shepherds in those pictures. I always take my 'guardians' along.

beautiful picture! I love the contrast of the picture! I have recently started bird watching too, with my camera.
