About LinkBacksJust a update on the little one my husband and I got thursday. He didn't eat or drink much the first day but thanks to this forum I got him to eat some watermelon to keep him hydrated. Hes very calm and loves to cuddle. When hes not asleep hes preening/ scratching his neck or falling asleep while scratching his neck.He also has a tendency to stop in the middle of stepping up to nibble on his toes. lol
We bought him some parakeet seed mix today since all the info I've come across about brotogeris says anything with pellets in it may be bad for their long term health. We also got him some spray millet.
So far he hasn't touched the ladders or toy bell in his cage but he LOVES the drinking straw my husband folded into a triangle and has been playing with it and chirping.
Any feedback or tips are much appreciated!

It sounds like he is settling in well, let him settle in at his own pace, he will explore toys and such when he is ready.
