Zoo Med Avain Floor Sun Lamp w/5.0 lamp bulb.

Looking for some feed back on how many hours a day and how many days a week this lamp should be on? I did the burn out hours (150) and the lamp is 14 inches from the highest perch. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Do be careful, several members have reported burns from special avian lighting.

Thank you for your reply. In the instructions my lamp came with it says 12 to 14 inches after burn in time. I actually moved it almost 18 inches and only leave it on three to four hours a day. I am hoping he is getting enough light. Thanks for the warning about the burns.
