Zip Ties?

I'm looking for ways to join hoops together, and at first I thought of Stainless Steel Jump Rings, but realizes that feets and beaks can get stuck in these..

What about zip ties? or other possible ideas?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Zip ties are fine, but as a warning, if you are cutting the excess, file or melt the end down. A member once had a green cheek cut himself on a cut zip tie!

Depends how big of a bird is going to be using it. A Cockatoo can cut through zip ties as easily as it shreds a piece of paper.

Some people don't like the sticky? I thought about that too.

I don't have issues melting the ends

I've been looking at this swing made with rope wrapped around hula hoops for awhile ... I'm sorry if this isn't anything close to what u are making.. but I love the look of it and the cost is doable.
