I moved into a new house about 6 mos ago. As everyone who has caiques knows and as posted on another thread, they love bathrooms. It took Zeek, my male wb caique, no time to learn how to find the master bathroom. He very quickly learned how to find the bathroom and climb into the shower. It took a matter of seconds for him to learn how to disassemble the shower drain!
Recently, I foolishly gave Zeek a toilet paper roll to chew on while sitting on the bathroom counter. I noticed that one of the sinks had bits of cardboard from the roll down inside the drain, under the stopper. Knowing the cleaning people were coming the next AM, I knew I had to get the cardboard out before it got washed down the drain. But I couldnt get the stopper off. It is a new sink and I couldnt figure out how to get it off. After wrestling with it awhile, I gave up. Well, Zeek the handybird slid down into the sink. I saw him wrestle with it and very quickly he popped it off! I was shocked to see that he was able to unscrew it just right to unhook it from the clasp deep inside the sink. Tomorrow I will try him at bricklaying.

I'll have to try that with my doves, maybe they can help me do dishes or something.
