Earlier today I let out a rather loud sneeze..and Léa, who was playing close by, decided to let out a loud "ATCHOO!" as well!

Lately, she's also been liking repeating her name in the afternoon while she plays. "Allo!" is another favorite. She also says a few more words of her ever growing repertoire in a low voice - must be practice time!

This morning she said "what are you doing?" while looking up at me. I think this was just before we took her out - I guess we weren't fast enough...

Emmie CAG always sneezes or coughs whenever he hears someone do it. Just one time after I had sneezed, I heard him mumble "Bless you". He has never said it again. Another thing he does is if I say with gusto, "Do ya wanna see some football?", he answers "Whoo, whoo, whoo!".

What a cutie pants! Their potential for speech is really amazing! Just the other day we were sitting on the deck and I offered the fids some water off a spoon and after Olivia took a couple sips, she looked at me and said "want some more?" Caught me off guard and made me smile at the same time. They are just amazing creatures! :D

That's adorable :D.

It's always funnier when they pick up noises and phrases on their own like that.

Shade: Is Lea bilingual in English and French? My Aunt has a Patagonian who is bilingual with English (his second language) and Portugese. After fifteen years, he still tends to answer a question of make a request in Portugese and if anyone says "HUH?" or "What?" he immediately translates to English. He is an interesting bird.

She is bilingual in the sense that she has words in both languages.
But given the amount of French...she's much more into learning what I say to her than my boyfriend (who speaks no French)!
