I have two tiny boy endlers in my 90 gal. They love to chase each other around...and they love all the room to swim.

Mine are black bar endlers. I love them. I know some people who will ship them to you..but you should wait until spring.

I would hazard a guess and say it is so they don't get cold! Many places and people won't ship during the winter due to the unpredictable temperatures. They also won't ship when it is really hot
