Yay - Mars Let Me Handle Him (a bit)

I had Sunny with me in the kitchen and I opened up Mars cage. I can't see him from the kitchen, but can hear if he flies. I guess he heard us talking,and next thing you know he flew into the kitchen.... he has never done that before. I grabbed him (with Sunny still on me) and I was giving him head scritches.

Before any jealousy could happen, I put him back on top of his cage. I then went and gave him some more head scritches... he wasn't too sure about it, but let me. A few minutes later I went back for more and he even bent down expecting them! The next time I did it though he was trying to nip me, but I think he is getting more comfortable with me... hopefully he will let me handle him soon!

If you could manage that without moving Mars away would reinforce that he can come to you, and it´s ok, and he can get head scratches.
Moving him away suggests he cannot come to you.
